This guide on how to accept online payments applies to people in the Philippines

 

First: Organize your two (2) VALID ID cards (original and photocopy).

 

• Examples of these include Driver’s License, Passport, PRC ID, TIN, Company ID, SSS, GSIS, School ID. 
  Be sure you are at least 18 years old.

 

TIP: Make sure the full name (First Name / Last Name) that appears in your two valid ID cards is the same, or is consistent.

 

Second: Apply for your free GMail account, and make sure your full name there matches the full name found on your ID cards.

 

• You can apply at http://mail.google.com/mail/signup

 

 

Third: Apply for your Unionbank EON Card.

 

Step 3-1: Bring your original and photocopies of your 2 valid IDs to the nearest Unionbank branch (see Unionbank EON Card Pick-up Branches).

Unionbank Branch and ATM Directory.

 

Step 3-2: Bring P350 (Unionbank EON Card Annual Fee)

 

Step 3-3: Bring P1,500 to fund your Unionbank EON Card.

 

There is no required maintaining balance for the EON Card, but you’ll need to fund it so that you can easily use it for your online payment system.

 

Fourth: Get your Unionbank EON Card at the branch where you applied for it. If you reside in Metro Manila, you may need to wait around 1 week. If you reside outside Metro Manila, you may have to wait 

3 to 4 weeks.

 

After you get the card, you will need to activate it.

Yes, you can Apply for a Unionbank EON Card Online.

Keep in mind, though, that the online application can be used only in Unionbank EON Card Pick-Up branches.

If you’re not near a pick-up branch, you will need to apply manually.

 

How To Activate Your Unionbank EON Card

 

To activate your Unionbank EON Card, you need to enroll it.

Please visit the EON CyberAccount Login page, then click on “Enroll Here”

You will be asked to Validate your ATM/debit card number and PIN.

After 3 to 5 banking days, your Unionbank EON Card will be activated. Sometimes, it can take as short as only 24 hours.
